Malabrigo is a family owned yarn company in Uruguay and Peru that strives to employ women that might have trouble finding employment otherwise. While the company is relatively new (founded in 2005), it is well-loved around the world. The best part? Malabrigo does not practice muelsing and when the company sources outside merino, they make sure it's muelsing-free as well.
Worsted is a buttery-soft single-ply merino. The look and feel is similar to Malabrigo Mecha, but even softer. Yarn is kettle-dyed and each skein is 100% unique.
